Tab Overview - Referrals

Referrals (sometimes called "Refer a Friend" or RAF) represent a scenario where a new Member enrolls in your loyalty program based on an endorsement or recommendation from an existing Member. Marketers will often grant a reward or some other benefit to the referring Member, as a way of showing gratitude for the referral.

Typically the referral process works by having the platform generate a unique Referral Code for an existing Member. That Member can then share their Referral Code with a non-Member. If that non-Member enrolls in your loyalty program using that Referral Code (or uses the Referral Code later after signing up), the platform generates a Referral Activity on both the new Member and the referring Member.

The Referrals tab of the Member Profile screen lists all of the Members who joined your loyalty program based on a referral from the currently selected Member. For each referral, the tab displays the referred Member's name and Member ID, and the Referral Code.
